Oldschool did you try a full reinstall in a new folder only to check if your current installation has no issue? Sometimes SteamCMD can **** things up and maybe you have a corrupted file somewhere that even file validation can not see (I already had this issue and needed to remove a whole folder for the system to detect anomaly. I did not try a full reinstall but I don't think it will change anything as the wiping I did before starting server should have put server in original state. So for me it works on Linux even after wiping all folders related to workshop. I do not have a Workshop log in Binaries/Win64 folder for Linux server (it may never had one I'm not sure I know I already saw this log file, but I used to run the KF 2 servers under WINE before they released Linux servers so I'm not sure if it is a new Linux bug or if Linux servers never had Workshop Logfile.) Anyone else having this problem?Īnd I checked the KFGame/Cache folder and it has a folder with the item number, and a bunch of subfolder and files (it seems to be some kind of a mod or something, not a map) Given that this is happening both on a local machine AND on a professionally hosted machine, I'm guessing it's not something stupid like a port issue or the ever-popular "log out of steam" thing. Warning: Warning, Workshop: Unable to download workshop item 752794391 NetComeGo: Checking item 752794391 for updates. If it is a map I already have that it is checking for updates, it says: Warning: Warning, Workshop: Unable to download workshop item 1363355300 NetComeGo: Checking item 1363355300 for updates. If it's a new map I want to download, it says: Has anybody had problems with their dedicated server not being able to download from the steam workshop? I've got two servers, one hosted by bluefang, one on my own machine, and it seems neither one can download maps from the workshop right now.
